Serra International is a lay organisation within the Roman Catholic Church, charged by the Holy See to promote and support vocations to the Priesthood and the Religious Life. Our Club, the Serra Club of South Hertfordshire, was chartered in July 2000, and became a member club of Serra International.
Our Church has always needed strong leadership and powerful role models. Laypeople must help to call forth Priests, Brothers, Sisters, Permanent Deacons and Lay Ministers from within the community. Equally, they must affirm those who already serve the Church so that they may continue to find fulfilment in their vocations.
The Serra Club of South Herts meets at Our Lady and St Michael’s Catholic Church on the second Tuesday of every month (apart from August).
